Our Family & Friends programme provides a link between parents, families and friends of Clare's current undergraduate students and the College.

We are delighted to offer those who choose to join the scheme a chance to become a little bit more involved in life at Clare. We know that students aren’t always the best at telling their parents what they’ve been up to, so we’ll do our best to give you a taste of what’s happening at Clare. When you join Family & Friends, you'll receive the College's monthly e-newsletter to keep you up to date with College news, event highlights and lots more. We'll also post you our College publication, Clare News.

Become a member of the Family & Friends program by completing the registration form here. This can be returned by post or emailed to the development team at development@clare.cam.ac.uk.

Events

Each February, we invite Family & Friends members (of first year undergraduates) to dine in Hall at Clare. Before the dinner you will have the opportunity to attend choral evensong in Clare chapel and there will be a short talk, usually given by the Senior Tutor.

All Family & Friends members are also very welcome to attend our annual Clare Gala Day in June. Keep an eye out for updates on our events pages!

The Parents' Fund

The Parents’ Fund is a way for families and friends to give tangible support to current students. Gifts to the annual Parents’ Fund support projects of direct benefit to current students. These projects are decided upon by a committee of students and Fellows, chaired by the Senior Tutor.
