Family and Friends Programme
The Family and Friends Programme provides a link between parents, families and friends of current undergraduates of Clare College, and gives parents the opportunity to feel that they are involved in their children's education and in the life of the College in general. Discussions with all our students, including attendance, assessments and personal issues, are however treated in the utmost confidence and no matters are disclosed to third parties, including parents.
Communications
To establish a channel of regular news and information about the College. You will receive the biannual Clare News and the College's Annual Report.
Events
A dinner is held for parents/guardians and students every year. A date for 2010 dinner had already been set for next year for Freshers of the 2009 intake: Saturday 20 February 2010. Family and Friends that register on the programme will be invited to attend a Formal Dinner in the Great Hall in the company of the Senior Tutor. A booking form will be made available here on the website in due course.

Family Book Fund
The Clare College Family Book Fund provides families of undergraduates with a way to help current students by donating funds for the College Library to invest in much needed resources and to help the Library maintain a plentiful supply of key texts.
If you would like to donate to this fund you can identify a subject area to which you would like to contribute or you can leave it to the discretion of the Librarian. Your support will be listed on an annual list of donors, displayed in the Forbes Mellon Library, unless you request that your donation be anonymous
For a minimum donation of £20.00, the College Library will purchase a book for undergraduate use, marked by a special bookplate. To download a Family Book Fund leaflet, please click here.
