  • Revd Dr Jamie Hawkey appointed as new Dean
    We are pleased to announce that the Revd Dr Jamie Hawkey will be the next Dean of Clare and Director of Studies in Theology, from September 2015. He will succeed the Revd Dr Gregory Seach who is leaving to take up the post of Warden of Wollaston College in Western Australia.

  • John Berryman: A Century

    October 25th marks the centenary of the birth of John Berryman; Pulitzer prize-winning poet and former Kellett Fellow of Clare College (1936-38).

    The Battle of the Blues Varsity rugby match at Twickenham has always been a highlight in the University calendar. This year's match promises to be full of the usual passion and rivalry, but holds an added significance, as it is dedicated to the fifty-five Blues who lost their lives in WWI.
