    October 25th marks the centenary of the birth of John Berryman; Pulitzer prize-winning poet and former Kellett Fellow of Clare College (1936-38).

  • CBC Boatman launches new project

    Anton Wright, Clare College boatman and one half of the world-record breaking team that rowed the length of the Amazon in 2013, has launched an outreach project designed to introduce local youngsters to rowing.

    To celebrate the launch of our new association, Clare in Whitehall, for Clare alumni working in and around Government, we will be holding a drinks reception in the Henry VIII Wine Cellar (Ministry of Defence) on the evening of 11 November 2014.

    Booking closes 17:30pm Monday 3 November.
    The Battle of the Blues Varsity rugby match at Twickenham has always been a highlight in the University calendar. This year's match promises to be full of the usual passion and rivalry, but holds an added significance, as it is dedicated to the fifty-five Blues who lost their lives in WWI.
