Francisca Malarée (Development Director) has overall responsibility for setting and delivering the College’s fundraising, alumni relations and communications, with the aim of building, maintaining and enhancing relations between Clare, its members, well-wishers and other potential supporters.
In consultation with the Development Committee and the Governing Body, Ms Malarée is responsible for developing and implementing the College’s development strategy, and for managing the work of the Development Office to achieve its strategic objectives and specific targets. She is also personally responsible for cultivating and raising principal (£100,000+) and major (£25,000+) gifts to the College through face-to-face solicitations, and for stewarding existing major donors through meetings and regular contact.
