Event Description - Clare Research Symposium
Dr Timothy Potts, Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum and Fellow of Clare College will be delivering the Keynote Speech at the 2010 Clare Research Symposium on 11 March.

The Research Symposium is a yearly event to celebrate the rich diversity of excellent research undertaken by members of the college. It will consist of a series of talks, given by undergraduates, postgraduates or Research Associates, on their current or former research. The symposium will also feature a keynote speech given by a current or former member of the College and a poster session.

The Research Symposium will provide a platform for members of college to convey to their friends and colleagues their passion for research and the ground-breaking discoveries they have made. It will be a carnival of ideas, a festival of minds, a celebration of academic excellence, We hope to create an atmosphere of lively, challenging and perhaps even brilliant intellectual debate. The Research Symposium will bring together members of college who are taking their first steps into academia with those who have forged worldwide reputations.
