Masterclass by Schubert Ensemble

Event Description - Masterclass by Schubert Ensemble
The Schubert Ensemble is one of the leading UK chamber ensembles, with a wealth of teaching experience between the players, and we are delighted that the group has offered to lead the first annual Roger Raphael Masterclass.

Tuesday 2 March
1.15-1.45 Short performance by the Schubert Ensemble in Chapel

2-5(venues and ending time to be confirmed): four separate classes in Chapel, The Master's Lodge, E4 and the Bennett Room, conducted by Simon Blendis (Vln), Douglas Paterson ('Viola), Jane Salmon ('cello), and William Howard (Piano).

If you would like to participate in the masterclass, in any chamber music combination from a duo upwards (strings, wind or brass), please get in touch with me immediately, giving me details as to the group, the players, and the music you will offer. I hope to produce a confirmed timetable within a week. So long as there is a Clare constituent, not all the players need be from Clare, though all-Clare groups will be given preference.
Classes will be variable in length, according to the needs of each group selected.

All undergraduates/graduates and members of the public will be welcome to sit in on the classes.
